running security essentials from the command line to scan a single file

is it possible to run security essentials from the command line to scan a single file or a folder containing files?

For now, can you enter a dummy command line (e.g. "echo")?  The file will still be scanned by MSE when you download it, as long as you have Real-Time Protection enabled. 

I'll open a ticket in our database asking for a command line custom/resource scan via MpCmdRun.exe.  Thanks for the feedback.
