Trojan: Win32/Rundas!plock What does this trojan do?

Hello,

A month ago, I was infected with this trojan. The file was in a "Super Metroid Level Editor" folder in the documents folder; I've placed it there long ago and never used it. The file in question (SOLA.exe) has been in there ever since 2013-2014, yet I've seen no issues until June. It kept enabling the C and D drive sharing option. Thankfully, I've noticed it pretty much every time and quickly disabled. I've noticed no other changes, other than most of the System files having a different modified date, might just be a coincidence. Windows Defender detected and removed the file on 6/19.

I feel like I'm being paranoid, but can anyone tell me what else this trojan does?

Trojan:Win32/Rundas!plock is a brand new trojan virus. It is based on a more advanced Rootkit technique, thus, many famous antivirus programs, such as Norton, Avast, Kaspersky, Microsoft Security Essential can only detect it, they cant delete it effectively delete it at all.

Lurking around in the background of the infected system, Trojan:Win32/Rundas!plock virus hides and deletes program files without your permission. It modifies Windows registry entries and takes up a plenty of memory space. As a result, you will notice that your computer acts strangely: for examples, browser repeatedly gets redirected to undesired web sites, Blue Screen of Death occurs from time to time, computer freezes up for no reason etc. In addition, Trojan:Win32/Rundas!plock virus has the ability to download other infected files onto the compromised computer. If you dont take feasible measures to handle it in time, chances are that the nasty virus will steal your computer privacy by monitoring your internet activities. It is really very annoying and dangerous.

You should not need all of these, but start at the top and reboot after each one. Check for updates first and then scan with each one at a time until your machine is clean.
