Is Trojan:JS/Flafisi.D from windows 10 Defender? It keeps coming back after defender removes it.

Started in middle of February getting Defender notice of Trojan:JS/Flafisi.D , Alert level: Severe, Status: Quarantined, Recommended action: Remove threat now. I remove it and it returns a day or two later. I've searched support and nothing up.

Affected items: File: C:\Users\Frank\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Low\IE\A2CJQRFA\microsoft-patch[1].hta

Where is it coming from and how can I stop it?

Lenovo Yoga 13 64-bit running Windows 10 Home Version 1709 OS Build 16299.248

Thanks, Frank

That's just a "detection" of fake pop-ups such as

- ("Urgent Microsoft Windows Update")

- ("Your flash player may be out of date")

Other users report seeing these type of fake alerts/warnings in connection with Yahoo as well as MSN and Edge start pages....

Do get a good advertisment blocker...

Please do read the below threads on similar/same "detections":

The above list is certainly not complete. There are for sure many more threads on this topic.....

Hope that helps a bit,
