Hi,

- What are you referring to "toolbar logo has is not there"?
- Which FIXIT have you tried to resolve this issue?
- Have you made any changes on the computer prior to this issue?

Method 1: I would suggest you to keep the computer in clean boot mode and check if the issue persists.
A clean boot helps to verify if any third party application services or startup item is causing this issue.
You may refer the following KB article to set the computer in clean boot:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After the trouble shooting steps, refer to Step 7 from the clean boot link to set the computer back to normal start up mode.

Method 2: I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Microsoft Security Essentials from the link and check if the issue persists.
How to manually uninstall Microsoft Security Essentials 2.0.1963 if you cannot uninstall it by using the Add or Remove Programs item?
To do so: Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
