A couple of questions about the win32/Alureson.H removal: the %temp% command turned up a number of folders as well as temp looking files. Do the folders also get deleted? Some of the files in the folders look important. Next, the link you provide "http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/download" does not indicate what tool should be used to fix the registry. I get the message "Sorry, but that is not a valid download code."  when I click on the link. Also, when I searched for "protection center" nothing came up. Any further info would be appreciated.

Hi, I think the address for SunbeltSoftware is wrong there.  If you used VIPRE Rescue, it would behttp://live.sunbeltsoftware.com/download

Glad to hear you were able to get it resolved!
