How do I setup delivery and read receipts in outlook.com?

I've just set up a new email account (yesterday) in outlook.com - How do I go about turning on delivery and read receipts?

If you are talking about outlook.com and not MS office it does not support either.  Both depend on the recipient taking an action which they dont have to do so it is at best a guess.

Currently Outlook does not support email notifications or read receipt notifications.

Please be aware that there is never a guarantee that the recipient will respond to either.
