Hotmail Login

For the past week or so, at the time of SIGN IN to my Hotmail email account (login live), there is a dreary background picture of barren hills and lifeless wild grass (behind the login fields of email ID and Password)!   Of course, I sign in with email ID and password -- and move on!  HOWEVER, do I have the option or freedom to CHANGE this dreadful background picture at the time of SIGN IN -- to something MORE CHEERFUL -- nature has some good views, you know!

I tried looking for an option within Hotmail.  Nope!   I googled for help.  None found.   So now, I am asking the brilliant members of the Microsoft Community to advise me on how to:  (a)  change the dark, dreary NATURE background at Hotmail Sign In -- to a SUNNY, BRIGHT view of planet earth, or (b)  Delete the background - and revert to how is was minus-7 days ago: Just a white, blank background.  Thanks and Shalom!

Sorry - that's a LOUSY answer.

Microsoft changed it - why can't Microsoft simply UNCHANGE it??

Or change the image.

MICROSOFT is at fault here - admit it - fix it - and act like a responsible corporation.

Hi Dinkie,

As of the moment, we would have to wait until there is an available option to change the background of the sign-in screen. Needless to say, this feature would be a great addition to Outlook.com. We encourage you to submit your idea to our Outlook.com UserVoice forums, so that our developers can see it and consider adding it in a future update. To do this, click here.

Don't hesitate to let us know if you need help with any other Outlook concern.
