What is the difference between Your Contacts and Contacts?

When I look at people on outlook.com I see

The contacts in Contacts synchronize correctly with my windows 10 devices (a PC, 2 tablets and a windows 10 phone).

When I look at Your contacts I see 31 additional contacts. Five of these are skype contacts (which I cannot delete and keep showing although I unlinked skype from my MS account). The remaining 26 contacts do not synchronize with my Windows 10 devices. Why? What can I do about it? Can I move them to Contacts? How?

Additional info: these 26 contacts (and many others found under Contacts) originate from synchronization with MS Office Outlook 2007.

I am trying to solve this synchronization problem since more than 1 month. 10+ chat sessions with MS Answer techs did not solve the problem. Who can help me?

Thanks for the fast reply, but I am afraid it does not help.

There are 26 contacts in "My contacts" (not in a folder under My Contacts) that I would like to move to "Contacts". Your link, however interesting, does not describe this situation and how to solve the problem.

BTW, there seems to be an error in article of your link. The article says "Each of your contacts and contact lists is stored in a contact folder. "

This is clearly NOT the case with my contacts. I have 26 contacts that are not in any folder under "My contacts"

Might this be a bug or database corruption?
