UNABLE TO ACCESS MY MSN OUTLOOK.COM EMAIL

What is happening? Everything in Outlook.com is redirected to Bing.com. It started last week. I've had MSN for years and never had any problem with emails.

I have the same problem too.  There seems to be an issue with the Outlook.com content box that I added to my My MSN page.  I can get into Outlook.com through the Sign In site that comes up in a Google search, but not through the MSN Content link.   89DJB

Hope someone in tech support is reading this to solve the problem. I tried to call but was on hold forever. Finally I just hung-up.

Hi GLENN_99 and 89DJB,

Thank you for posting your concern here in Microsoft Community Forum. It's my pleasure on helping you sign in back to your Microsoft account.

As our initial troubleshooting step, I recommend that you clear your browser's cache and temporary internet files to make sure that they are not causing your issue. This is often caused by a corrupted file in the browser. Please clear your browser's cookies by following the instructions on the link below:

How to Clear Your Browser's Cache

I also suggest that you try to use another browser or computer and inform us if the same issue happens.

Don’t hesitate to update this thread if you have further questions.

Thank you!

I tried what you suggested without success.  I use MSN Permium so the menu choices were different, but I found the Delete Browsing History and the Temporary Internet File delete area.  I even rebooted my PC to see if that would make a difference.  It didn't.   Outlook.com seems to work OK in IE, but not through the content box that I added within MSN Premium.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

89DJB

I have done all the cleanups prior to trying to contact MSN. 89DJB problem is similar to mine. Why would I use another browser when I am paying Microsoft for the service? As I mentioned before I have NOT had an issue with MSN's email (10 years). There's a problem with the new sign in procedure. If it cannot be solved, I will cancel my prescription.

Hi Glenn,

We are sorry for the inconvenience about this issue.

I have read the conversation in this thread and as what I have understood you are accessing your emails by going to Outlook.com. Please be informed that if you have MSN Premium subscription you have a privilege to use the MSN software when accessing your emails.

We need to isolate the issue if it has something to do when accessing your emails or if the issue happens when launching a browser.

Please provide us the answers of the questions below:

- What browser are you using when accessing your emails?

- What is the default homepage on that browser?

- Please provide us here the URL you have when getting this issue.

We will be waiting for your reply.

Thank you.

My default homepage is My.msn.com. Access is through MSN. There's an issue connecting to Outlook.com from MSN. When redirected to Bing, search indicates invalid address. I'm not to sure on the URL; please provide more details on information requested.

I have tried to connect to Outlook.com from another My.msn.com account; same result. For your info, when redirected to Bing, different searches or "No results found for ....." appears, such as the following:
