Receiving sporadic Mail delayed and delivery failed

Over the last few weeks, I have been getting messages from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** that "delivery of message to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** has been delayed." Eventually, I receive another email about 12 hours later stating "Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, due to being unable to connect successfully to the destination mail server."

I can send to the same recipients from my Gmail account with no issues and I send another email to the same recipient again from my Outlook.com account and it gets delivered.

Any ideas on why the sporadic message delivery issues?

Thanks for reaching out.

Errors may happen at multiple places in mail delivery. You may sometimes receive a bounce message from their own mail server, reporting that it has been unable to deliver a message, or alternatively from a recipient's mail server reporting that although it had accepted the message, it now finds it undeliverables.

Hi,

Thank you for the response. I did reach out to the recipients involved and their inbound mail servers did not receive the message(s).

I believe the issue was on Microsoft's end as they updated the Outlook.com environment. All email correspondences with these companies since have not been an issue.
