How do I correct inbox message received time, it is one hour earlier than the actual time that the messages arrive?

I notice that messages are timed at one hour earlier than the actual time that I receive the email. Is there a way of accessing a clock setting for email. The clock settings on my PC are correct.

Hi n456k,

The time stamp displayed in your messages depends on the time zone that you’ve set in your account profile and not on your computer’s clock. To sort this out, please update your profile and select the appropriate time zone for your current location.

Note: The tab for the time zone is located below the ZIP code.

Hi n456k,

Thank you for posting your concern in Microsoft community. Based on your issue details above, you received email that was delay for an hour than the actual time zone. It’s possible that your time zone was not set up properly according to your location. To change it base on your location, please refer to the steps below:

  1. Sign in to Outlook.com
  2. Click the gear icon on the upper right corner beside your name.
  3. Select More mail settings.
  4. Under Managing your account, click Account details (password, aliases, time zone).
  5. Retype your password if you're asked to sign in again.
  6. At the Account summary page, click Edit personal info.
  7. Under Home, click the drop down button beside Country/region then select your country.
  8. Set the region of your Country and the Time zone.
  9. Lastly, click Save at the bottom of the page.

Please let us know the result for further assistance.

Thank you.
