Hi MrunaliniPatel,
Welcome to Microsoft Community and I understand how inconvenient it is for not being able to receive emails on your device. This is likely to happen due to any of the following:
- When the account lost its synchronization with the device.
- Your inbox is full.
- Due to internet connectivity.
- Mail server settings were not configured properly.
You can easily resolve this through the following troubleshooting steps:
-
Turning the device off and on.
- Removing and re-adding your account from the phone: Mobile Outlook.com
- Removing and reinstalling the Outlook.com app.
- Ensure that the mail server settings are properly configured: Send and receive Outlook.com email from an app
- Set the Mail days to sync to a shorter timeframe since this will eliminate any bandwidth issues.
- Moving the emails from inbox to a temp folder. This is to determine if there are corrupted emails causing synchronization problems.
Let us know if the above steps worked. If not, kindly verify the following for further investigation:
- Were you able to receive emails when your account is setup to the device's default mail app?
- Does it happen when another account is logged in to your device?
- How about setting up your account on another device, can you receive emails there?
- Does issue persist whether you are connected via mobile data or WiFi?
- What is the make and model of your device, as well as the operating system version?
