Hotmail Accounts Not Working In Thunderbird POP3

I have several Hotmail accounts managed by Thunderbird.  On March 11th, they all stopped working.  None can be authenticated and I am not able to send nor receive email.  I can access them fine with the web browser version of Hotmail, but can't use these accounts with Thunderbird.

I am on build 24.3.0 of Thunderbird.  The Hotmail POP3 was pop3.live.com but I have also tried pop-mail.outlook.com with port 995, SSL/TLS security, NORMAL password authentication, SMTP was smtp.live.com but I have also tried smtp-mail.outlook.com, port 587, normal password athentication, security STARTTLS.

I have also tried re-adding an account and using IMAP instead of POP3, but this never gets past the authorization indicating "configuration could not be verified - is the username or password wrong?"  Neither are wrong, as I have confirmed by logging in and out of the browser based Hotmail account.

I found that Peerblock was causing my problems. I uninstalled Peerblock and relaunched Thunderbird and everything is fine now.
