DISPLAY NAME IS SHOWING SOMEONE ELSE NAME IN OUTLOOK.COM

Hi all,

I just found out that if I check the emails in my sent folder, it shows a different display name as from address than my own. It appears it links it from somewhere else, but I don't know where and how.

When I check my profile, it shows the correct name and if I send an email to someone they also see my correct email id but with different display name,though i have change my display name but the problem remains the same.

any chance you can send this to me I have the same issue. When I email person A, it displays as person B in my sent box. I think a change was made before I joined this organization and I am unaware. That or its a copied PST file from Person B.

Please check your Account Profile on Outlook.com by clicking your profile picture and go to View Account, select Edit name then Save.
