Hi, just to start with, I have read all the other posts and they haven't helped!
Although it was working this morning, I can suddenly no longer send emails from my hotmail account on my ipad. I can still send emails from my gmail account on the same device, I can also receive emails no worries. Also if I log onto hotmail on my iPad
I can send emails fine! Confused!
I have deleted and readded the account a few times and nothing, I have also reset my iPad with no joy. I can't see any option for outgoing mail password on my account settings that some of the other posts have mentioned. Bit stuck now!
I am glad to know that you can now access your account with no issues. There could be a glitch on our system that's why you encountered the said issue about being unable to send email messages.

Welcome to Microsoft Community and I am happy to assist you with this. To begin with, this happens when your account went out of sync with the device, the mail server settings were not configured properly, or there could be a glitch from our server.
Since the initial troubleshooting step of removing/re-adding your accounts didn't work, then I advise that you try other steps below:

begin with, this happens when the account lost its synchronization with the device or when the mail server settings were not configured properly.
Since reconfiguring the account didn't work, I advise that you try these other workarounds:
It is been 2 weeks since i can't send emails properly, also recently i am getting directly more junk. Why is this happening? I mean i run some ISP tests, surely they are failing, which i don't understand, where or zhow it can be fixed....attend to fix
