It looks like we don't have permission to get email for .......@gmail.com.

The mail app on my PC is is "Mail Version 16005.10827.20186.0".  The default account is my outlook account.  Linked to it is my gmail account.  I have been getting the above email message several times a day for about 3 weeks.  I have followed the instructions to rectify the situation and if send mail to my gmail account it is received and I can see it in my windows app or the outlook online web version.  How do I stop getting this error message which is clearly incorrect.

Go to connected account page https://outlook.live.com/mail/options/mail/acco... and see the actual status of connected account at the moment . If it says that there is syncing issue, try to sync it manually by clicking on green arrow. If this will not help remove the account and connect it again https://support.office.com/en-us/article/remove...

There was no green arrow. I removed the account and connected again.  No annoying email today so looks like it has worked.

well my gmail account i removed/deleted a month ago and i still get at least 3 of these a day why does microsoft not know anything  It looks like we don't have permission to get email for *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Oddly, I don’t even have the account anywhere on the computer that it’s telling me it doesn’t have the credentials for… The account doesn’t exist.

Ive got the same issue.  I get this message on my Samsung S9+; I get it on my GMAIL and MCHSI account and it's very aggravating.  I'm about to shut down Outlook if some one cant provide a fix.  Why does Microsoft not address this?  Why do they rely on outside experts to figure out problems they should figure out?

So simple took 30 seconds (including log in)

Outlook need shaking up...........get some expertise on-board, you're supposed to know what your doing!

Nothing there helps with the problem,  there are no other emails showing on that link, but Outlook thinks they are there?   How do you get rid of the old emails when they do not even show up,  tired of seeing this message every time log in!

Thanks for the notification that I replied?   How in the Hell would my own reply help me?   This is pathetic and typical of your supposed support.   This problem is all over the web and nothing is being done to solve it.   Outlook has a glitch,  and you need to acknowledge and correct it instead of sending me a notice that I posted a notice!!  Sheesh!!!!!!
