ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

It seems to be turning into an endemic issue. And not only in my computer, more members are bringing it up.

Have cleaned up/deleted/etc. cookies/site data/history, the works. Repeated times.

May be REMOVING AND REINSTALLING Hotmail could work? Which I can't even find in my computer.

Help please!!!

Hello! I am an Independent Advisor, I would love to help you out!

When do you see this popup? What application are you using at the time?

If using a web browser try clearing cookies and cache and try again. Or try using a different web browser.

As initially stated, cookies/cache were cleaned repeated times.  Eventually it heals. Then it happens again.

It happens in Chrome and IE.

Have used my second computer to log in to Hotmail. Then it happens again there, as if my mail carries poison. Same phenomenon.

It seems to work unaffected in the incognito window.

Of course, every time I clean, that forces me to log back in to my subscribed forums, email, newspapers etc.

There should be a solution. And your help is most appreciated.

Hi I'm Ernie an independent advisor, as you've mentioned it's working in incognito it might be a problem with add-ins. Try disabling them within IE and enabling one by one to identify if one is causing you an issue

Hi,

Please see my reply there

I managed to reproduce it also in incognito mode, by marking a SPAM as "spam".  With emails received from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** .

Since I noticed this, I no more participate to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and from now I no more faces the "toot much redirections"

Thanks for answering.

My computer literacy is rather on the narrow side, so could you please elaborate on what it is, or better, how to perform "disabling add-ins".

Much obliged.

I just never opened or run into any spam mail. Doesn't seem to apply to my case

All the same, thank you for trying.

Ok,  my post was for "support" people  as I found to reproduce it 100% of my tries.

But it occurred also for me without clicking on the emails from "Microsoft SPAM", by deleting or reading emails.

Arfy

Add-ons can sometimes cause browsers to run slowly and crash, or they might pose a security or compatibility risk. You can turn off specific add-ons to help increase your browsing speed, or if you suspect they're causing problems for Internet Explorer. You can also remove add-ons that you're no longer using from your PC. It's a good idea to delete add-ons if you suspect they're causing performance, compatibility, or security problems.

To turn off add-ons
Open Internet Explorer, select the Tools button , and then select Manage add-ons.
Under Show, select All add-ons and then select the add-on you want to turn off.
Select Disable, and then Close.

My side it may occur

  • in Chrome
  • in Chrome incognito (without addons)
  • in Firefox
  • in Edge

so, for me I don't think it's linked to addons as reproducible on all browser I have for my job =)
