Can't sign in on Chrome

I cannot sign in to Outlook.com using Chrome. I recently switched to Chrome because Internet Explorer was causing too many issues. Now I cannot sign in to Outlook.com (my formerly Hotmail account, probably to again be renamed and made more difficult to access). I am on a HP desktop running Windows 7 x64 SP1. I can sign in fine using the same saved link when using Internet Explorer. I have cleaned all caches in IE & Chrome, Have done the Control + F5 deal on my Desktop and still cannot get past the sign in page which recycles endlessly. If I type in to get Outlook sign in I get 'Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later' What can I do?
