https://signup.live.com/signup.aspx?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct=1370029945&rver=6.1.6206.0&wp=MBI&wreply=http%3a%2f%2fmail.live.com%2fdefault.aspx&id=64855&cbcxt=mai&snsc=1&bk=1370029974&uiflavor=web&mkt=EN-US&lc=1033&lic=1

I found that this is a very old bug at hotmail site and still not got fixed by any developer yet.

Hi Levi, Aryan is a First name in countries like INDIA the meaning of aryan is The English word "Aryan" is borrowed from the Sanskrit word ārya meaning 'Noble';[1] but apparently, it was initially used as a national name to designate those who worshipped the Vedic deities (especially Indra) and followed Vedic culture (e.g. performance of sacrifice, Yajna).[1][12] TheZend airya 'venerable' and Old Persian ariya are also thought to be national names.[1][13] So how can this word be a abuse/invalid word which is blocked by hotmail website. how can hotmail relate this word with ****, xxx, ****,etc. Thanks Agrim

Same problem for me. Apparently my last name, Reyes, is not allowed either. Could you explain? It is a very common latin last name. Is it supposed to be offensive in some context or something?

Thanks for your help!

Karina Reyes

Hi Aryan and Kary,

Welcome to Microsoft Community Forum.

I apologize for the delayed response to your issue. I understand that you're trying to register or sign up your domain to Windows Live Admin Center. Here's the update that we would like to share with you.

After evaluating our custom domain service in Outlook.com Microsoft have made the decision to no longer support new custom domain sign ups and encourage those in need of domain services to use Office 365. For many custom domain administrators, Office 365 is an ideal service, providing access to its many productivity tools including shared calendars, cloud storage, instant messaging and GoDaddy domain hosting.

For more information about Office 365 for business, please click this link.

If you have other issues, you're always welcome to get back to this forum.

Thanks,

Lei
