Hi there,

I tried to add aliases to my outlook account. But I ran into the error: We limit how frequently you can add aliases to your account. Please try again later.

Actually my current email did not reach 10 aliases yet, so why it is locked for me to add new ones?

Thanks for reaching out! My name is Dane and i'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

How many alias have you created so far? I believe there is also a daily limit aside from the maximum limit of 10, it just can't find the article for it. You can retry after 24 hours .

There are two alias limits:

a limit of 10 aliases total
a limit of new aliases that can be created in one year of 10 aliases

How many aliases have you created lately?

i think it was over 10 aliases, but I deleted some of them. It seems it still reach the limit.

Deleting one of the account emails opens a spot in the 10 alias total limit, but does not open a spot in the creation limit.

After you reach the creation limit, you will have to wait one year before you can create new aliases.

I have a same problem, it"s a new account (7days) i have office 365 but i have 5 aliases maximum, not 10 :'( please help me

Well, same with an other account, can't create 3 aliases in same time, new limit ? new delay for create another aliases ?
