Why outlook.com will not receive mails from poczta.wp.pl?

I have configured outlook.com to receive mails from my account on www.wp.pl (poczta.wp.pl; Polish website). Outlook.com automatically discovered correct settings and after a while, all mails were copied into outlook.com. But now most new mails are not forwarded to outlook.com. There is always a message saying something about some problems and to wait a while. What can be done to reliably receive mails from other POP3 accounts?
If I were doing this, I'd set the Polish mailbox to forward to the Outlook.com mailbox instead of pulling from the Polish mailbox using Outlook.com.

Unfortunately Polish mailbox does not allow me to forward mails.

On Polish forum I have found out that the problem lies in big attachments. Probably I will have to delete emails with them.
