Why is my spam option greyed?

Hi,
Following a thorough cleanup which I made to my system following a search.certified-toolbar.com attack, my MS Outlook 2010 junk mail option is greyed, not accessible.
How can I bring it back to life?

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thanks for asking the question. As I understand, the Junk option in Outlook 2010 is grayed out after you performed a cleanup of the computer following a malware attack.

 

This issue may occur if the current Outlook profile is damaged. You may create and configure a new Outlook profile and check if the issue gets resolved. Refer this link on how to configure a new Outlook profile:
