I'm sorry to hear about the Spam issue. It seems that the issue is server wide as several other users have reported the same incident. I understand that this is indeed quite concerning. There are several things you can do to help keep Spam away from your Inbox. Kindly go through the steps provided on the link below.

If you recently received a suspicious email in your Junk folder and responded to it, this may have caused the sudden influx of Spam in your Inbox. In case this happens again, and you are unsure what to do, please do feel free to reach out here so we can assist you.

I have done all these steps and I too am getting a plethora of spam in my inbox.... HELP

I just started having the same problem. I get a huge amount of spam, so I filter everything. I only allow mails from my contacts list or safe senders. RIght now everything is going into my inbox. This just started.

Noticed the same thing. Can’t find any mail rules, etc.. this seems to have happened overnight? ALL email going straight to inbox. MAJOR pain in the butt. Anyone out there that has seen or knows how to fix this?? Is this a larger Microsoft issues??

If you open the actual outlook app it moves things from inbox to junk, so the official 365 outlook app works correctly, but if you are on a phone/using the web version the junk filter is not working correctly.

Same thing happened to me overnight. I have all these rules in place to not allow any emails to my inbox unless I have them as a contact, or I have exchanged emails with them before, and yet my inbox is FULL of ****. After 28+ years with the same email address, a LOT of spammers know my email. So thanks for that Microsoft! Please fix this right away.

I am having the same issue, junk mail is not going into the junk folder and I get 100's of spam emails a day.
This needs to get escalated to Microsoft!
