Where can I find the GMail IMAP-Folder 'All Mail' in Outlook 2013?

Setting up my GMail Account was easy, but now I am stuck finding the 'All Mail' folder.
This IMAP folder contains all E-Mails of an account.
I can't find this even though I subscribed to this folder.
Is there some hidden area for it ?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Marcus,

Thank you for asking.

I would definitely be able to help you to finding the Gmail IMAP folder in Outlook.

Do you find your Gmail IMAP account folder under your default PST file in the navigation pane?

If yes, you may click on the small arrow beside the Gmail account in the navigation pane. Which would expand to your Inbox under your Inbox you would find your Gmail folder which would contain all the subfolders and emails in it.

If you are unable to find the folders once you expand the Gmail account in the navigation pane, then you may have to enable it in Gmail settings.

Follow the steps below to enable the settings:

Log on to Gmail, go to Settings, Labels, and ensure ‘Show in IMAP’ is selected for ‘All mail’ folder.

I hope this helps. If you need any further information, you can always reply and I’ll be happy to help you.

Thank you.

Hey Rajus,
I can of course expand the gmail folder, but there is no 'All Mail' folder underneath.
All my other labels are visible and I ticked the 'Show in IMAP' Option of the 'All Mail' folder also.
Any other suggestions?
Thx!

Like Marcus H., I am unable to see the All Mail folder even with the "Show in IMAP" option selected in GMail settings.  Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi,

Method: 1

You may try to remove and re-add the email account in Outlook and check if it works fine.

Method: 2

You may create a new Outlook profile using the article below and verify the status:

I hope this helps. If you need any further information, you can always reply and I’ll be happy to help you.

I had the same issue.  I was able to fix it by right mouse clicking on the IMAP e-mail account I was having the issue with.  Then selecting IMAP folders.  Then query.  I then scrolled through the list until I found the All Mail folder for my Gmail account.  I selected Gmail/All mail, then hit the subscribe button and then Apply button and voila...it appeared again.

Hope that helps you.

Thank you.

This shows that it the [Gmail]All Mail folder is subscribed, but does not appear in the folder list.  This is critical.

I have "Show in IMAP" selected in "All Mail" but All Mail folder still is missing in Outlook 2013.  Any other suggestions?
