Use Outlook app contacts as default on iPhone

I have asked this question before and did receive a response. However, I cannot find my previous questions so i am going to ask again.

I have installed the Outlook app on my iPhone and iPad. I want my Outlook contacts to be the default contacts on both devices instead of the "Contact" app on these devices. I do not think this should be a big deal but I cannot find the answer.

I am an independent advisor, and I am trying to help other users in Community with my experience in Microsoft products.

If you are using Outlook app, please go to the app, Settings, Accounts, choose your account and make sure that contacts are set up for syncing. After you will set the and grant permission for native contact app to access them , you should see them on your devices.
