No, you'd just have to drag it back.

Okay that was what I was beginning to realize. I guess I am worried that if you don't remember where the appt. should go. For example, I have control over calendars for several people and have accidentally moved an appt. on one calendar when it should have been on another.
Is there any backup where I could find where the appoint should be - if I can't remember?
I appreciate your help.

Well...if it's on an Exchange server you probably do have mailbox backup, but you wouldn't be able to restore JUST that appointment. You'd have to restore the whole mailbox and that introduces a whole raft of other possible issues.
Maybe if the user has a mobile device that doesn't sync right away you could possibly find it that way. Otherwise... :-(

Okay - thanks. I am a Law Offiice Technology instructor in a paralegal certification program and one of my students has asked the question. I have spent weeks trying to figure out an undo move for her and then thought it might be best to ask someone else. :0(
I really apppreciate you taking the time to answer the question. :0)
Again, many thanks.
