Two different sound notifications for two different email addresses in Outlook 365 desktop app

Is it possible to have two different sound notifications for two different email addresses in Outlook 365 desktop app?

I want to record two .wav sounds, and assign for each of my email accounts a different one. Is it possible?

I want by the sound notification to know where I got a new email.

Thank you,

Horia

Hello HoriaPetrusan

Hi, I'm Karl and will be happy to help you today.

Unfortunately, there is no option to set notification sounds by email account - sorry. The <New Email Notification applies to all accounts as outlined in

Change the sound played when an email message arrives

Thanks Karl. I was thinking maybe is possible to do it with Outlook rules. Do you know if this can be achieved?

My apologies, overlooked using a rule which definitely would allow you to accomplish what you want - sorry about that.

You can create a rule for a given recipient set the sound that's played when a message is received

Create a new rule and

#1 - Create the email account to which the messages are sent
#2 - Click on <Advanced Options>
#3 - Confirm that the account is the properly selected --> click on <Next>
#4 - Check the box for <Play a sound>
#5 - Click on <Sound> and select the file you want to play - if you click on <Next> before doing this, not an issue since you will be asked to do that when click on <Next>
----then proceed accordingly
