Superscript and Subscript in email message

Please tell me how to make a superscript or subscript in Outlook 2011 for Mac.  In windows it is simply Ctrl+= for subscript and Ctrl+Shift+= for superscript.

The superscript and subscript options are missing in Outlook 2011.

As a work around you can use Word 2011 to compose your email and then copy and paste it into Outlook 2011.

In Word the options are Command + =, and Command + Shift + =.

The Special Character route is not always a viable option. It basically allows you to insert the superscript or subscript version of a character using the corresponding Unicode form if it exists.

You can typically find it for numbers, a couple of letters but that's it.

It's the same as using the OS X character viewer…

Really, the only viable option I can think of at this point (which is what I had posted earlier) is to format the message in TextEdit, then copy and paste in Outlook.

Outlook really lacks the proper formatting options :-\
