Shared Mailbox in Outlook Message Read/Unread Status Problem

we are using a shared mailbox in our organization, but we are facing an issue Because if any of the team members read a message then it shows every other member as read status of the message. Which is really an annoying situation. Many times some members couldn't even know which message they have read and which message they haven't read.  so is there any setting change that makes life easier if any member read mail still it will be unread mail to other members

I have already got suggestions for reading pane setting but it's not workable for us

According to your description, seems you would like to set the unread status for users who actually not read this email yet in the Shared Mailbox. Regarding this point, we have carefully checked, we noticed that already got solutions for reading pane setting about in Outlook desktop client View > Reading Pane > Options. The default is set to mark items as read when selection changes. When you disable this option, all are unread only unless user set it as read manually. If this solutions are acceptable for you, there is no other way to achieve this purpose. Our developers notice this might will build up this function become more completable.
