Saved outlook templates don't update after modifying and saving them

Based on your description this issue only happening in Windows 10 system, it working properly in Windows 7 system with exactly same thing. Regarding this point, may I carefully confirm with you, what Outlook version you are using? You could provide us a entire screenshot via open Outlook desktop client > File > Office Account. Please hide your names and email addresses. Meanwhile, you could refer this article to the latest Microsoft 365 products version, please try to update your Outlook version to latest one.

Furthermore, if you already using the latest Outlook version and issue persist, please have a try to repair Outlook Repair an Office application (microsoft.com) to check there is any improvement.

Thank you for the quick reply!

This is the outlook version I used.

After your reply I checked for updates and downloaded and installed the newest ones.

I tried again editing an already saved outlook template and saving it again but the same thing happened. Instead of the template being updated with the new information, it saved it as a draft in my drafts folder!

I am a mac desktop user with Monterey iOS system and recently restarted my computer. I assume Outlook updated because the new outlook toggle switch is gone. Regardless, I had already been on the new Outlook and using templates regularly for work. Please tell me where My Templates has gone and how I can integrate them again. I had a customized toolbar where I clicked often and now when I go to customize toolbar the My Templates option doesn't even exist.
