Recover .pst file password

Hi All,

I'm using Microsoft Office 2013. Recently, I created a outlook_data_file and set a password. When prompted, I saved my password in outlook password list also.

But I have forgotten the password now. I can access my data file in the same system as the password is stored in the account. But I'm not able to use the data file in other system.

Anyone please tell me, how to retrieve outlook data file (pst) password from the outlook password list.

Note: I'm actually not sure where the outlook data file password list is located.

I'd advise you to take a look at http://www.slipstick.com/problems/pst-repair/remove-a-password-from-a-pst-file/.  Toward the bottom is a list of tools, some of which may help you.

Hi,

as you can access the data file try exporting it to a new pst-file.
