Recover deleted items in Outlook for Mac using Exchange/O365

We are using corporate Office 365 (cloud Exchange).  I know that I can easily recover deleted items in the Windows version of Outlook, there is a button on the top ribbon to do it, but that same button does not appear in the Mac version of Outlook.

Is there a way to recover deleted items from within the Outlook for Mac client?  Or am I stuck using webmail or the Windows client?

Thanks.

Answer

Hi Jason,

I did some search about the recover deleted items button in outlook for mac.  The recover deleted items button is not available  in the outlook for mac client. So we cannot directly recover deleted items within the outlook for mac. If you are using office 365 account in the outlook for mac, and you want to recover deleted items, you can sign into Outlook Web App. In the Outlook Web App you will find the recover deleted items button in the deleted items folder like this:

On the other hand, if you concerned about the feature” recover deleted items” button in the outlook for mac client. I recommend you can vote for this good feature on Recover Deleted Items Support in outlook for mac. Microsoft will always focus on customers experience and they would add some good features to our products in future according to the number of votes.

Thanks for your understanding.

Regards,

Oliver
