Please add timestamp to datestamp in inbox.

I saw a thread where it was explained that you can see the timestamp on an email only when you open it, that Outlook did not have the ability to show a timestamp on emails in their folder's list view, and that anyone wishing this feature should leave a request in the Forums. So here's my request. If this feature has already been added, please show how to turn it on.

Thanks.

Hi Katie,

Please do not call any phone numbers in replies of this thread as they are SPAMs.

Based on your description, my understanding is that you would like to see the timestamp on list view pane of inbox folders. Please correct me if I was wrong.

If this is the case, then this feature is available. If there are any kinds of timestamp in your email list now, you could directly change the format of the timestamp by going to View > View Settings if you are using Windows. In View Settings, please go to “Format Columns” at the bottom. In the next prompt, please click on “Received” or other Date/Time fields you have added, then you could scroll up/down to choose the timestamp format you would like and apply it. Please find the following screenshots for your reference.

If there are no timestamps in your current view, you could add the column in View Settings > Columns and add “Received” or other Date/Time fields you would like to add here. You could also choose to create a view. Then you could change the format following the above steps.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions about this. I’ll be happy to help:)

Best regards,

Jasmine
