"Personalized email address" missing in my Outlook.com premium

I have a GoDaddy domain , I'm using it from several weeks.

Today I've open Premium tab and "Personalized email address" is missing!

A friend have just completed the domain transfer to GoDaddy and he would to activate his personal domain on Outlook.com but "Personalized email address" is missing for him also.

Me and my friend have an active Office 365 Home subscription.

You're not alone.

I recently moved over from Zoho because I have a GoDaddy domain and Office 365, but now I've gone to tweak my settings and I've also found this option gone.

Has Microsoft already removed this feature?

Inspecting html code I've seen a lot of error 500 related to urls:

https://outlook.live.com/ows/api/beta/PremiumSubscription/.....

I think that "Personalized email settings" section is not displayed due to these errors.

Microsoft please fix the problem!

+1 for seeing this issue.

Heard of the functionality today, thought it sounded a great solution (I wanted to move off my current email provider for my domain and I have O365). Migrated my domain to GoDaddy only to see no entry in the UI for 'Personalized email settings'

Checking network traffic I also see some 500 errors. Not a great experience so far!

I read somewhere that if you have used all 10 of your aliases you cannot add a custom email address. My husband has the option but I don't, because I have used all 10 aliases and he hasn't (assuming here).  I am having a different issue as today I cannot see any of the options under Premium and get a message to try back later. I deleted an alias to try and see if the option showed up and if it does, once this new error goes away, I will comment here to let you know.

Update, my husband just checked his account and he sees the Premium settings but the personalized email address section is now missing. So I guess it is not related to the number of aliases after all.

Chiming in, same problem here. I didn't even KNOW about this feature—though I've been requesting it from MS support for years—until yesterday. Checked my O365 Home account, and it wasn't there. I've spent over 2 hours chatting and talking with Microsoft Office 365 Account and Billing "support" (oxymoron), and they keep telling me this has never been a feature. Uh. huh.

Pretty sad showing from MS on this. I've already got them half a dozen customers lined up, if they can just get this figured out. As a tech consultant, I can't recommend a product that I can't make work myself.

I suspect from the lack of attention given to this, Microsoft may just quietly drop the feature. I am still receiving emails to my personalized address, indicating I am “grandfathered in”, but I can’t make changes any more.

I really hope this isn't what's happening, because I just transfered my domain to GoDaddy 6 days ago explicitly for this feature, and I'm pretty sure I won't get a refund if it turns out I can't use outlook.com with it. I'd have much rather keep my domain on NameCheap along with my other ones.

I've been trying for two days to get someone at Microsoft who knows anything about this, without success. I'm not a MS MVP though, so I'm going through consumer channels.

It really is sad… this is the kind of feature that is really nice for families. And up to this point, the only solution—O365 Business—is just cost prohibitive by comparison. That Microsoft has made a ~$20 a year domain name the differentiator between these service tiers is just bizarre (IMHO).

Then again, Google and Apple have done the same. Both at one time offered the ability for low-cost personalized domain-fronted email, as MS did with Outlook Premium. Both have also since dropped those services.
