Outlook not accepting Microsoft Live credentials to publish calendar to Office Online

Outlook 2007 has recently started repeatedly prompting me for credentials with a dialog: "Please enter your username and password for publishing calendars to calendars.office.microsoft.com".
I have been for a year or so, and wish to continue, sharing my calendar and do not recall previously being prompted for this.
Am I correct in assuming this ambiguous request is requesting my Microsoft Live credentials, rather than my domain login, Exchange, or some other credentials?
Could a change to the company proxy do this?
