Outlook Email problem.

Good morning,

I use Outlook 2010 / Outlook connector 3.5 and Windows 7 64 Bit.

When I send some e-mail with Outlook  some characters get replaced with &bsol or &grave? accented characters ( Like à/è/ù/ò)

We have this problem when I write a new e-mail or I replay to someone.

I change also the pc but after a month I've already the same problems.

Could you help me please?

HI,

This will be the best possible fix to your problem.

Upgrade your outlook 2010 to 2013 version.

Regards,

Shawn

Hi,

1. How does the email look in sent item once it is sent?

2. Does this issue occur with forwarded emails as well?

3. Are you able to send emails as expected in webmail?

I look forward to your reply to assist you further.

Thank you.

Hi,

when the user write some accented letters (like à or ù for example), Outlook change the word like this : \ or &grave .

If I try with web mail I've not this problem.

We have this problem when I write a new e-mail or when i replay or forward the mail....

Thanks for your support.

Daniela

A new mail msg is created and you write some text in, is the problem seen in the new msg (before it is sent) or is the problem only seen by the recipient?
If the msg appears OK when you compose it, if you then send the msg to yourself, when received does the problem then show?

If you start outlook using the safe switch (Hold the Ctrl Key when starting OL) then repeat the test in sending a mail to yourself.........still the same?

It means then that one of your outlook add-ins is causing the problem

Within Outlook review what none MS Add-ins are installed, then either report back what they are or disable one at a time, and restart OL until you can determine which one is the cause

  1. File-> section Options-> section Add-Ins
  2. At the “Manage” dropdown list at the bottom select which type of add-ins you would like to enable/disable

hi,

sorry for the dalay.

I've tried with your suggest and I've desactivated all add-ins and now the problem seems resolved, but I'll see if in this way when someone replay to some emails and the mail will be in the right way.

Thanks at the moment....
