Outlook - display scaling issue

Hello

Outlook (2010 - 2016) does not fit to display scaling.

If you like to have today’s 4K/5K desktops experience and work with Macintosh everything is fine. If you work with Microsoft Windows you will find "funny" views like attached. Unable to work with.

Will Microsoft participate in the 4K/5K world sometime? We would really like to know. Otherwise we have to change our operating systems.

1. Are you facing this issue with other office applications like Excel, Word etc., ?
2. Are you facing this issue with one particular window (option) or all the pop-up settings window in outlook?
3. Are you using any third party add-ins?

  1. No. We don't face the issue with word or excel. They work fine with display scaling.
  2. In Outlook we face a scaling issue with advanced search also. Please find the issue described here

    You can simulate the Outlook display scaling issues with every Outlook version with Win7 or Win10 operating systems. Just change your settings to a display scaling level greater than 125%. Try 200%  for example and you will see. (With a 4K Display you need at least 200%).
    The developer tools and advanced search will be unusable.

  3. Yes, we do. But I face the issues with new build systems without any third party add-ins as well.

  4. Outlook is a long existing Tool working very fine with our old computers.  I guess parts of Outlook need a design make over to can be used with new high end computers (e.g. Advanced search and developer tools). We are very looking forward for any solution Microsoft can offer to be a companion in the new world of technic with 4K/5K displays. But we would also looking forward to get a statement if Microsoft won't fix the issues in the near future.
