Outlook Calendar peek - Hide subject of private appointments

Hi,

In Outlook 2010, when you added the appointments in the ToDo Bar, it was possible to hide the subject of a appointment if it was a private appointment. You just had to go to To-Do Bar > Options and uncheck "Show details of Private Items".

In the To-Do bar the private appointment was showed as "Private Appointment".

But now in Outlook 2016 I can't figure it out how to do this. How can I edit the peek of the calandar so that private appointments are showed as "Private Appointment" and not with the subject?

Or isn't it possible anymore?

Here is a visual of the difference between 2010 and 2016:

Thanks in advance fir the help.

Hi Anna,

Thanks for the reply but this was not my question. I know how to make an appointment private.

I just don't want to show the subject in my calendar peek (when I'm viewing my mails).

When you are in your mail-view you can right-click on the calendar and select "Dock peek". In this box/view I don't want that the subject of my private appointments is visible.

This was possible in Outlook 2010 but can't find out how to do this in Outlook 2016 (see example above)

Hi Endeka,
Unfortunately you cannot change the calendar view in the peek (or in the to-do bar). The task peek view can be customized but the calendar peek is hard coded. Sorry.
