outlook 2013 and mcafee add on

I try to click on mark as spam and a pop up window appears. the window says "This action can not be performed in the current outlook folder" is this because i have an hotmail email account? or if not how do i fix this problem please help
Since you include "McAfee add in" in your subject  line, presumption is that you know that is being cause by it as a result. Would suggest contacting McAfee as the first option since the error is coming from a non Outlook component.

Simple way to start the elimination process

Disable the McAfee addin which for all intents and purposes, really serves no purpose on a system that has a valid up-to-date A/V installed at the system level. Outlook A/V addins are known to cause more aggravation then their worth and are not required in today's environment.

(Personally prefer the "complete uninstall" approach in these cases and then re-installing making sure that the option for the installation of the Outlook addin component is not checked - assuming it's an option since haven't installed McAfee in a very long time).

I'm having the same problem, but with Windows 8.1 it was OK after the Windows 10 Upgrade McAfee does not work on Outlook 2013. I wish I would have stayed with Window 8.1. Windows 10 SUCKS!
