Office for Mac PDF icon issue (Outlook for Mac)

Hi All,



I have just updated to Ventura 13.0 but ever since when I attach a PDF to a new email the PDF icon is missing, this is also true when I have an email delivered with a pdf attachment. All other file formats show the correct icon. If I open the attachment, Adobe reader opens normally. But It just slows my process down when I think I have put the wrong file in the email. I have just updated to 13.0.1 but still got the issue. Does anyone else have this issue or do you know a solution or workaround?

* If you are using Outlook desktop app, may I please know Outlook for Mac version? And Are you using Legacy Outlook or new Outlook experience on Outlook for Mac?

I am using the Outlook desktop application for Mac

* If you are using Outlook desktop app, may I please know Outlook for Mac version? And Are you using Legacy Outlook or new Outlook experience on Outlook for Mac?

I am using the new experience; I have tried it on the old experience and it is the same issue. I have also run updates on all office products and os x

Hi, I'm having the same problem, along with many other Apple users running macOS Ventura. The attachments were normally shown with a preview, these are PDF, EPS, JPG, PNG files (possibly other extensions) that are now shown as a blank icon without a preview. iMac Apple M1 with macOS Ventura 13.0.1 (latest)
Microsoft Outlook for Mac 16.67 (latest)

@Nijssen, sorry for the late reply, got a lot of work at the moment. I am only having the issue with the PDF icon, but it is instreaming you are having it with others. Have you done any updates?

I have the same issue in version 16.67 (22111300) in both the "old" Outlook interface and the "new" Outlook interface.

ETA--the icon for PDF files in the Outlook web app is correct.
