Not always able to sign out of my hotmail accounts - I have three

When clicking on the icon top right to sign out of any one of my hotmail accounts, sometimes only my name drops down and not the option to sign out.  What can I do to change this, as I cannot sign in to one of the other accounts while another is open - or can I?

Thank you for replying, Mel.  That answers how to log into more than one account at a time, but doesn't answer how to log out.  Can you help me with that?

Are you logged into the computer using one of the Hotmail accounts?
