Non-delivery of e-mails (error code 4.4.7)

Recently, I sent an e-mail to a large number of people. Most of them received my e-mail, but several did not. In the past, they had no problems in receiving and responding to my e-mails. The error message read:

Your message couldn't be delivered. Despite repeated attempts to deliver your message, querying the Domain Name System (DNS) for the recipient's domain location information failed.

Can anyone come up with a simple solution to overcoming this problem?
