No spell check on Office 365/email.

I am using Microsoft Office 365 - I have no ability to spell check when using email. I have followed instructions, but the options suggested are not available. This is becoming areal issue. Can anyone help please?

Hi Craig,

 

Are you using Outlook Web App or Outlook desktop?

 

If you are using Outlook Web App, there is no built-in spellcheck. Instead, Outlook Web App use your web browser for spellcheck.

 

If you are using Outlook desktop, you can check the spelling in your email message at any time by clicking Review > Spelling & Grammar. Also, you can set Outlook to check spelling for you every time by doing the following steps:

1. Click File > Options > Mail.

2. Under Compose messages, check the Always check spelling before sending box.

 

If the problem persists, please provide the following information for us:

1. The detailed version of your Outlook client. Navigate to File > Office Account > Office Updates on your Outlook client to check this. It looks like Version 1609 (Build 7369.2118).

2. A screenshot about the error on your email message.

3. Does this problem always occur when you enter the wrong word?
