My hotmail account will not sync with either my Macbook or my iPhone.

Hello, I've been having a weird problem.

I have two hotmail accounts I've been using for a long time.

One for nearly a decade (account A), the other for around three years (account B).

Both of them linked and synced properly to my laptop and my phone until about half a year ago.

My older account A would sync properly, but I noticed that my newer account B was causing problems.

On my laptop, it would simply not push any new emails, although there are no error messages.

On my iphone 4s, the problem gets weirder.

My phone will allow me to add account B without any problem, but when I actually press the "Mail" application, to check my emails, it shows the following error message:

Since account A is causing no problem, and account B is causing problems on both my laptop and my phone,

I presume this is a problem caused by outlook, and not by either of my devices. 

This has been driving me crazy for half a year, and if somebody can please help me what's going to, I would very much appreciate it.

We suggest re-adding your Outlook account and check if the same issue will persist. To do that, please follow the steps provided in the article below:

Set up email using the iOS Mail app

I've already tried these measures, and the same error message pops up.

I am able to add the account without problem, but once I click my mail app, it shows an error message and refuses to connect.
