Hi there!
I contacted both my mobile device manufacturer and my network provider and they told me that there isnt any problem with my IP address .If it was I couldnt connect at all when using mobile data connection. As I told you I used to connect to my outlook.com app with no problem for the last 13 months. And it is ONLY that application that doesnt connect to 3G.Everything else works perfectly fine when connecting to my mobile data connection(internet ,gmail, google maps etc)
I am not an expert but there must be an issue with the outlook app itselfe when everything else work and it is only that application that doesnt connect. Please sort this out for me!It's been 3weeks now .! Also when I log in to hotmail.com with 3G again everything works fine.It has to be the application then! Looking forward to your reply

I'm having the same issue.  It just happened a few hours ago.  I also noticed when I'm on the MSN home page that the area where you can log in to Outlook just says "loading".  I also cannot text.  It just says "Loading" as well.  Thoughts?

Just to add - I am receiving text messages however it won't open so I can't read them.  It just continues to "load".  If it was an IP issue - I wouldn't be receiving text either - right?

Hi Panayiotis,

I apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you. In order to determine whether the problem is with the app or not, I advise that you try the workaround given by ArifKhalifa in this thread:

Let us know if it fixed the problem. If not, kindly upload its log files for further investigation:

  1. Start Outlook.com app.
  2. In the message list view, click the ... at the bottom-right of the screen.
  3. Tap the settings option.
  4. Tap the general option at the top.
  5. Scroll down and tap the support tools option.
  6. Tap log level and choose fine trace.
  7. Delete/Remove the account and sign back in.
  8. Go back to support tools.
  9. Tap the send logs option.
  10. Send the logs to your email address.
  11. Log in to that email address and download the attachment.

Here are the steps to upload a file:

  1. Click You have a private reply to this message link just above your post wherein you can upload the log files.
  2. Click Upload File link.
  3. Click Browse button next to the field provided.

We are looking forward to your response.

Thank you.

Hi BlueR1,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and I understand that you are also unable to access the Outlook.com app when connected via mobile data/3G connection. In order to isolate whether this is caused by a faulty app or not, I advise that you remove and reinstall the latest version of Outlook.com app.

If reinstalling the app didn't work, try the workaround given by ArifKhalifa in the thread I posted above. Moreover, when you mentioned that you are unable to proceed in logging in to Outlook from the MSN page, are you experiencing this on a computer browser or mobile browser?

If it is through the mobile browser, I advise that you clear its browser cache or try logging in to other mobile browsers. If this is happening on a computer browser, I advise that you repost this concern to the MSN forum for assistance.

We are looking forward to your response.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for posting back. Let me assist you further with this.

I understand that you don’t know what to delete on your device. What I could suggest is you try following the steps provided in the thread with the device in your hand. The steps may vary depending on the model of your device.

Go to the network settings on your device and proceed from there.

Let us know if you will still have any concerns following the instructions.

Note: IP address looks like this pattern:  111.111.111

Thank you.
