MS OUTLOOK - Automated messages from "Mail Delivery System <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>"

I am using Original MS Outlook as my email software any my email address is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

It has come to my attention from many people who are sending me email messages that they are receiving automated messages from "Mail Delivery System <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>" stating: 

""This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

 

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

 

  *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

    (ultimately generated from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***)

    host alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com [74.125.141.26]

    SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>:

    452-4.2.2 The email account that you tried to reach is over quota. Please direct

    452-4.2.2 the recipient to

    452 4.2.2  https://support.google.com/mail/?p=OverQuotaTemp z1si1101794vsc.276 - gsmtp:

    retry timeout exceeded""

Pls help to resolve this problem.

Pls note that I am using Windows Defender Security Centre

Hi - that message means your mailbox is full. You need to log into your mailbox using a browser and delete some of the mail to make room for more.

Are you using Outlook.com email or Gmail.com? (The forum software marked out the address.)

Who is your email provider? That is where the problem is.

If it's Outlook.com, you need to empty the deleted items and junk folder and probably some older mail to reduce the mailbox size. Make sure you also empty the deleted items folder and the recovery folder linked at the top of the deleted items folder.


1. Empty the recovery folder linked at the top of the Deleted items folder. (The recovery folder has a different, smaller quota, but emptying it can help speed up the processes.)
2. Sort the deleted items folder by size and delete the largest messages - select the first, scroll down and hold Shift as you select another message. Then hit Delete.
3. Empty the recovery folder again.
4. Click the Empty Folder button.
5. Go do something else for a couple of hours, more if you have a lot of deleted mail.

Some people prefer to repeat step 2 to clear the Deleted items folder. If you do this, do step 3 every few thousand messages.
