MS Office 365 Outlook search function is missing

MS Office 365 Outlook search function is missing.  I have tried a few things in the community but I can't get the search function to return.
Hi, I'm Elise, an independent advisor and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

Could you refer to this view for instructions on searching, please let me know if any of the steps are unavailable to you, and if possible take a screenshot of the issue.

This is not helpful.  I have already:

1. rebooted

2. restarted MS Outlook

3. did a full repair for MS 365 suite

The search tool is NOT showing.

Would you mind taking a screenshot of the interface you are seeing just so I can better understand what is being presented to you?

Below is the screen shot (the one on the left).  You can see there is NO search tool in the ribbon.  I can not add it.  I have tried everything.  Updated MS.  Reupdated MS.  Reloaded it.

Ah ok, you have the new updated version.

You use the search bar at the very top of the screen on the title bar now, this has replaced the previous search bar.

I appreciate this isn’t an obvious change as I can see many other users have the same query.

Kind Regards,
Elise
