Missing "Folder" tab in Outlook

The "Folder" tab in Outlook has disappeared. I do not mean the folder pane that you access via the "View" tab but the actual "Folder" tab itself. It has not reappeared after closing and restarting Outlook or after a full re-boot of my computer. Thanks for any advice on resolving this.

I'm Diane, an Office Apps & Services MVP specializing in Outlook and an Independent Advisor.

Are you using the Simplified ribbon? The Folder tab is not available on it. You need to use the full ribbon for that. If you are in the full ribbon, open File > Options > Customize ribbon - Is the folder ribbon ticked?
