Lost calendar events more than 1 year olfd

Suddenly since upgrading my IPhone software my Outlook calendar (both on the phone and on the computer) no longer show events more than one year old. I use Microsoft office 365.

What type of email account do you use? Pop, imap, or outlook.com/exchange?

Do you use iCloud to sync with the phone?

Do you have auto archive enabled? Right click on the calendar folder and choose properties, then look on the auto archive tab. Is it set to one year?

I use outlook.com/exchange. I don't sync through ICloud. I sync to my computer. Where is the calendar folder. I right clicked on the calendar in outlook and auto archive settings show but they are greyed out. I can choose Run Auto every ? days and then the archive options are available.

Go to file, account settings and double click on the account -what is the sync slider set to ?

Press ctrl+6 to open the folder list. Do you see more than one calendar folder? Does it have the missing events?

So in account settings it says: my email address and Microsoft exchange. Only one.

I don't see sync slider. Where is that.

In Account settings, double click on the exchange account to open it - sync slide is on the first page.

Hello,

Can you check if they have been deleted (you can check directly in Outlook on the PC) - check in deleted items. If the folder is empy right click on deleted items and recover deleted items.
You can also check if they have been automatically archived: Click “Open Outlook Data File,” then navigate to the archive Outlook Data File (.pst), which should be under drive:\Users\user\Documents\Outlook Files\archive.pst. Then click "OK."
Check if there is a pst file from the date the software update has been completed.

Regards,
Manuela

If you log into the mailbox at Outlook.com and visit the calendar, do you see the older events?

No there are no events prior to six months except repeating all day ones. My archive settings looks like it says archive after 6 months. Do you know how i can get them to show again?

No they are not in the recycle bin. The auto archive was set to move old to the outlook/archive.pst older than 6 months but I can't find that folder. I follow the path but under Outlook there is no archive folder.

Are you able to open your mailbox online (on a web platform) and check is they are there?
Can you also try configuring the mailbox on a different mobile phone and search for them?
Usually if the lost items are not archived or in the recycle bin, it is very possible that they are permanently deleted.
