Hello David! My name is Abdullah, and I will assist you today.

I understand your concern related to the missing archived emails. Just to confirm, have you checked your account using Outlook web (outlook.com)? If not, please check it via Outlook web and see if you can see the emails there, if it is not there then please check the below link to restore them to the deleted/recoverable items folder:
https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/recoverableitem...

You can as well check the below link to learn more about the deleted emails:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/rest...

I have as well attached a screenshot, please check it.

Please let me know if the above information helped you. Thank you.

Best,
Abdullah

Hi Abdullah

Thank you for helping me .

When I push your first link it just takes me into me account . It doesnot tell me how to recover all most lost emails .

Your second link doesnot seem to help . The lost emails arenot in deleted ….they have ALL just gone . Some are years old some new .

My whole archive folder / file is just empty .

Thank you again for your help as I really need my emails back

Cheers

David Spence

Hi again

Thank you for help .

This is very annoying and time consuming . Why can’t Microsoft solve this problem . How can thousands of emails just disappear .

I have seen the thread you just sent me before . It doesn’t help . My lost emails arenot in deleted . Even if they were how could I find them . There are thousands and they go back years .

Is there anyone who can help me with this serious problem

Thank you

David Spence

The search function in Microsoft e discovery will not work for personal email accounts . It has to be a business or commercial account .

I now have no options

Since I don;t see it listed in this thread, what kind of email account is this, POP, IMAP, Outlook.com/Live mail/Hotmail, or Exchange Server, and who is the account provider (E.G. Yanoo, Gmial, etc.)?
